These machines operate integrated with the wire drawing line and are widely used to produce clean-surface wires and to improve drawing performance. They are positioned downstream of the descaling (scale breaking) machine.

They effectively remove oxide layers from the wire rod surface and prepare the material for subsequent washing and coating processes. Coarse sanding is performed at the machine inlet, while fine sanding is carried out at the outlet. The sanding units operate by rotating 360 degrees around the wire on a rotating flange.

The machine body includes an outlet for a dust extraction system. Protective covers are specially designed to provide both noise and dust insulation.
